#tbt This was the first sketch I’d done in probably 10 years. It took me traveling half-way round the world and finally taking a vacation in 2013 to get the mental space to start doodling again. ✏️ -I sketched this one morning upon waking up in Medellin, Colombia after experiencing a few days away from my screens and Internet. Surrounded by mountains, and day after day of springtime weather, Medellin is beautiful. 🇨🇴 -I’m thinking a digital detox/sabbatical is in order for 2017… where to next??? 🌎 -#sketch #wanderlust

Visiting Washington D.C. over the holidays and getting inspired to read up on my U.S. and military history. It makes me want to EXPLORE all the monuments, memorials, and historical sites here in D.C. and EXPLORE more of the cities I visit in 2017. 🌎-But even within my hometown of Indianapolis, I want to EXPLORE all the new restaurants, museum exhibits, and shops to see what people are creating, building, and sharing with the world. 👀-So many more journeys for the bucket list, books for the reading list, and projects for the to-try list.
